It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play Alpharetta Theatre reviews
Brad Paisley - What a Great Show!!
It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play's show was really enjoyable. He's truly a down to earth individual and hasn't forgotten where he came from. I especially like it when he went to the back of the pavillon and sang to the people on the lawn. I had seats in the pavillon, but this shows that I am very proud to come from the same state as It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. I'm from West Virginia also.
Darius Rucker was great! I hope he has either changed companies or has convinced them that there are a lot of loyal country music fans that enjoy his music. I also thought that his record company was thinking by saying a song is "too country".
Ode to Robert Plant and his Band of Joy
I had to buy tickets when a friend told me about this tour as I'd never seen Zeppelin in their heyday and always wanted to see the legendary frontman. Beforehand, not being familiar with his more recent work, I listened to a few tracks on the new album. I thought the songs were interesting if perhaps a bit too mellow and country-ish for my tastes. Nonetheless, seeing them live brought a whole new appreciation for the music. The Band Of Joy musicians are famous in their own right and they showcased their individual talents throughout the show. They reinforced that the roots of rock are in blues, folk, and country styles, techniques, and composition, making the show educational. Seeking an appreciation of good solid rock? I highly recommend this show to anyone.
U2 Still Brings It
If you're a fan and get the chance, I'd say don't miss it! The sound mix was as good as can ever be expected for a venue of that size, the visual effects were a perfect backdrop to their stunning Joshua Tree. They're a band that doesn't get lost in a cavernous stadium. What you get is a fantastic energy surging show with the band sounding as good or better than ever, and an enthusiastic yet that's right polite crowd celebrating the band, the music, and 4th of July weekend. It takes you on a trip across the desert with them and then to a war-torn country and refugee camps to witness people struggling to merely survive. On what seemed like a mile-wide video screen, It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play certainly knows how to get into your soul to get their message across. You think of It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play as a great band with over 3 decades behind them, but honestly without any great new material for a while, so you only hope to see a good show of some of their best music that you hope sounds better than what your typical stadium will acoustically allow.
REO is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"I was amazed how bands their age are still around. Not many GREAT It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play still is. They played for 2 hours straight WITHOUT a BREAK! Kevin was even more awesome in person, but the rest of the band amazed me as well. I have a new appreciation for them after seeing them live for the first time in my life. I brought 2 friends along with me that were NOT really It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play fans, but they are now. They are all very talented musicians, & deserve all the recognition they get. My only complaint is that I did NOT like the way Billy Bob's is set up for concerts. I thought I had good seats, but the seat map of the venue did NOT match the way the seats are actually set up. This will NOT be my last It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play concert (God willing). ALSO... It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play gets 5 stars!!!! I'd give them more if I could, but Billy Bobs gets 2 stars... I hope they work on improving their set up. I wanted an It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play Tee Shirt, but after walking all the way to the front of Billy Bobs, I was told they were in the back left corner. I left, & will order merch from their website. It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, y'all ROCKED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Terry from Bedford, TX."
